Sounds about right its the same for me never taken me 7 1/2 hours though  Why not make a weekend of it go friday come back monday  or stay the week like me .

Same here, trying to get the wife down for a long weekend away.
Especially when May sees me in the US and July sees me helping out down at the British onroad EFRA at Brooklands in Kent.

plenty to see & do, most beaches are only 10/15 min drive from the track!

Think your nearest terminus is behind the NIA, hop on one of those blackcountry gondolas and start paddling along the Birmingham shipping canal - you may get there for June if you leave now!!
