Hi Guys,

It would be good if we can post our results on the BRCA site, as it lifts our section profile a bit which would be positve.
As i see it the off road large scale scene is attracting new drivers and the class is growing while others are trying desperately to hang on in there.

LSOR is a good section and most importantly is Very Happy "FUN" Very Happy and i for one look forward to improving all elements of the sport . LSOR is the place to be and if we have guys with the technology / time to squeeze our results into the BRCA site then i think it should be done if at all possible.

Regards

John

I dont really know about computers, but how hard can it be to update the BRCA website with the results?

I assume someone updates the site voluntarily!

On a posative note the 1st National seemed to have great attendance.

John, agree with your comments about getting the information out to the masses and helping to advertise our sport which is why last season the results for all rounds were sent for inclusion on the LSOR website but for some reason they never appeared.

After each round the data was sent for inclusion on the website, rnd 1 sent on the 4th April 2008 @ 20:20 up until the final round, Rnd 8 which was sent 21st October 2008 @ 20:45.

All results and race reports appeared regularly in the main stream press and even when I could not make the EFRA cover was sourced via Printman and Bigbore (thanks guys) which was a first for the LSOR section. The whole series in a top shelf mag Wink

The LSOR pro has taken large scale off road to a new audience and has asked for information from clubs to circulate out to the wider audience but if he receives nothing then there is nothing to go forward with!

It was disappointing like Bill says that some rounds did not have trophies and I felt sorry for the 2007 trophy winners who had to wait until mid season when Bill and I resolved the silverware issue when funds allowed.

Trophies for the 2007 season had to be presented track-side in 2008 instead of the 2007 AGM, some never even got there shields at all.

As you will recall all trophies were available and presented at the 2008 AGM as the section did at the 2006 AGM.

And, have no fear you will not be short of a trophy this season if you make a top tier final as we've got them all ready for each meeting. (The wife is polishing them all each week Laughing )

Hi Guys,
If we all share the workload we can lift LSOR to new heights, both on and off the track Wink Wink , the guys who do the lions share of the work do a stirling and sometimes thankless job... so well done chaps Smile

I am a newby to the LSOR scene so i dont know all of the etiquet yet but i am catching on..... (bit slow in my old age) Wink Our officials in my view are doing a fine job and the offers of help above will gladen some of you and be a relief to others who are streched with hardly a spare hour in the week.

So IMO well done to Darren , Bill and all the others who make LSOR work so well for us club drivers.... Thank you !

John

Still no results on the offical brca site..

I am now confused, is thier an official BRCA site or is this steves site, however reading between the lines then darren has and did every meeting send steve the results to upload in 08 but werent allways uploaded

Dont get me wrong steve i could be wrong or right, dont know Question Question

However if we in future want the results to go on a BRCA site and not the nene we need someone to take control and have a link from all other sites, ie Team 5hite, NVR etc etc to an official BRCA SITE
