Just a quick line to say well done NENE and the crew for putting on another spectacular national... Thankyou and a big thanks to our unsung hero Darren Worth who puts untold hours into the sport.

However moving on to the weekends racing, well what can i say it was a good battle at all levels with a great mix of drivers and cars with everyone enjoying a race at thier respective levels. But as far as CONTRAST efforts go well done to Ian, Andy and Mike all making the Final and putting up a good effort with a First for Ian and very respectable placings for Andy and Mike.... well done lads !
The other contrast drivers all seemed to do well and enjoy the weekend, and it was great to see a couple of the CONTRAST on road guys Tony, and Phil having a go at the off road scene again.... and Tony did realy well considering he is not used to astro turf.

My... errr rather unusual beetle bodied fuego encouraged a few giggles in the pits Laughing Laughing But i am persivering with the beetle body project to make our own beetle body and side pods which will also fit the Horman and Elcon cars in due course.

One again thanks to everyone that made it such a fantastic weekend, Mike and i got home about 11.30pm to Torquay, and Mike had another hour to do to get home Confused Confused

Thanks everyone

Regards

John

well what can i say.

BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we set off from st austell at around 2.15 am and drove in convoy up to meet jonny boy.
after a couple of bladder stops for ole jonny boy
we arrived at 8am on saturday, after the pits were up and running we sat back to relax for a while before the track opened at 1pm for practice.
i personally managed to run for a whole tank full of fuel without any major mishaps, but i must say a big thanks to the kort pit krew for all their help in getting me race ready
sunday morning started with clear blue skies and a cracking cup of tea cheers jonny and the love bus
I must also mention the astounding driving skills of mr ian oddy.
he was that precise with his driving that he was half a lap up on evryone within a couple of minutes of the final starting!!
i kid you not he was that dialled in that if you tied a paint brush to the back of his car ,i reckon that after 5 laps you would still only have one single white line around the track!!!!!!!

all in all an eye opener of a weekend and an experince that i would recommend all club racers have at least once (maybe just the once would be enough )

again well done to everyone especially the N.V.R crew for hostin a brilliant weekend.
great venue, great racing, great weather and a great bunch of people to spend a weekend with.
i got home at around 12.30 knackered stinking of dirt dust and fuel and grinning like a cheshire cat.
thank you all

mooky

Wow, what a great result.

Thanks go again to John At HF racing for supporting me.

A great time had by all the HF Racing team and the KORT team, we all come away reasonably happy with some great wins, i was real happy with 100 points, Ian must be pleased with his 101 points.

i was really cream crackered by the time i got home though.
