Hiya Guys, ( Nene Valley Committee )

Can you just confirm this for me,

What are the Fees for the Nene's Racing , Practicing and Camping ?

Non Members:

£5.00 for Practice on Sat
£10.00 for Racing Sunday
£5.00 for Capming per person.
Total: £20.00

Members:

£0.00 for Practice on Sat
£10.00 for Racing on Sunday
£5.00 for Camping per person.
Total: £15.00

Or if this is any different please advice us all, just to make it a bit more clear. As the above is how i read it from the Nene's Website.

Cheers
Ben

Thanks for that Mark.

I was just trying to work it out as before in the past, i have paid for camping and practicing totaling £10.00

I checked on the website, at the Perks of being a member etc.
It states on the Nene Valley Website that Everyone is to pay a camping fee. Question Question

Taken from the Nenes Site

Quote:
Membership

For 2009 the Nene Valley Raceway is simplifying its membership and brings it inline with the BRCA annual membership renewal timeframe.

Membership will run from the 1st January to the 31st December each year with the club offering a reduction in its membership fee for those who join after the 1st July each year.

No matter when you join your next renewal date will be January 1st.

Like all affiliated clubs to the BRCA and with your safety in mind the club will allow any prospective new member up to 3 visits before they are required to obtain BRCA insurance either independently or through the club and welcomes them as a new Nene member before they will be allowed back on the track.

Anyone who marshals or pits trackside for their son\daughter MUST ALSO have BRCA insurance.

In addition to the fees quoted below the Nene will be offering over night camping and Saturday practice for some events where an additional charge of £5 per racer\family\camper will be required.

For less than £1 a week NVR members get free Sunday and Wednesday night practicing and bashing.

Thats what i was asking the question poppet Confused

Ben
I may be wrong on that, wait for darren to confirm it 100% but i thought for non members it was £5.00 for practice and camping, maybe i am thinking wrong as some dont camp but still pay a fiver, maybe we charge the extra fiver for the privelage of camping on our lovely carpet, it would be worth joining as it works out so much cheaper, but with all 20 doyles in tow a fiver aint bad Wink Laughing Laughing

I can confirm a fiver for practice and a fiver for camping has been paid before, not by me though Wink

I'd pay a tenner just to get away from the Mrs for a night Very Happy

I've yet to see Darren Worth camp over, may be for the EFRA after a few beers Very Happy Very Happy 1st time.

You don't remember the NVR opening meeting last August then do you Ged. May stay over for the EFRA if someone provides a Love-bus like Johns Wink

In terms of Saturday fees the intent is inline with the docs posting:

NVR membership excludes the need to pay a practice fee if you only came for the afternoon session.

So £5 covers practice/practice and driver camping/driver camping.

In terms of overcharging the error should have been raised during the transaction and not sometime later as we are all human and errors can occur if payments are being taken over two days. Errors are easier to rectify instantly on the day.

ON ONE is expected to pay £10 unless you are paying for two people.

Ben I will personally refund the £5 difference and you can place it in Ellie-Mai's trust fund for when she buys her HT 10 Wink

C U in June.
Ps, MR C's project before the next meeting is to wire up slot meters to the electrical outlets in the pitting area Idea
