I know all Bajas will need alot of body work, some Hoermann's will need new pipes and bodyshells...

i will prob not race nationals if cost to much to adapt car? i race on a budget most my parts 2nd hand to keep cost down and my car 2006 spec hormann (a bit behind on current specs but does me). would be best to just issue gloves to marshalls and a lot cheaper

what about adding to list for those who do NOT need to modify the cars
i bet those outnumber the ones that have to change them

I think if people are going to name people in posts or aim somthing at somebody like this or have somthing to say they should do it by pm and not publically on the forum

Well,i have been up since 8 yesterday morning and it`s now 3AM and i aint sleeping,i`m that vexed.

If people have got burnt fingers/hands, the brca have to do something regarding safety and after zillions of e-mails discussing the options, covers/gaurds came out as the most suitable answer. For by far the vast majority of cars, that means none or very minimal changes (fitting a peice of old lexan body shell or a bit of wire mesh etc) that's all. Only a minority of cars with an exposed exhaust system will need a bit more work.

This thread and poll is just argumentitive, it's biased....of course it'll show some poeple aren't happy because there's no options for 'happy' people to vote!!
