well what can i say other than that was DEFINATELY the experiene of a life time!
thursday night saw us gently breaking into the national stride with a visit to the halfway house with a few of the large scalers.
although i do seem to remember mrs carpy having an attack of wind followed ny a giggle fit
friday saw some more hardened [s]drinkers[/s] large scalers arrive and in the evening retiring to the marquee to watch the entertainment provided by gresty, involving to much beer , a wooden pole and some upside down action
and it was only 6.30pm :-X
saturday saw us running track open time in three 2hour slots which we found gave people a chance to fix the cars and get some food while we did running repairs around the track.
most of the drivers seemed to take to kort really well without to many set up changes.
saturday night was rather subdued after already having 2 nights of beer and some shots of black sambuca.
sunday saw some amazing racing along with fantastic weather culminating in some very hard fought battles through all of the rounds, with the day finishing with the prize presentation including a special present for jonny and mark "wet crotch" palmer getting his first large scale plaque.
all in all if carlsberg made weekends this would have been one of their finest creations
and a big thak you to you all for travelling down and your kind comments
ABOUT THE TRACK NOT THE ONES ABOUT MY PIG BEAST
regards

I really enjoyed it, its my second time on the track, glad to see all that came down had a good time,
massive effort by the KORT team, and thanks to them.
Hayfever and and a cranky servo halted my effort, but hey thats racing.
sorry i didnt get chance to say cheers to all. _________________ Never argue with idiots! they only drag you down to their level, and then win on experience!

Cheers guys, glad to hear you all enjoyed yourselves & was worth the trip down...
Good to see so many of you coming down and supporting the track & the series. I would like to thank Mother & Julie for there mammoth effort in providing the catering over the weekend, top job!
All i heard over the weekend was good comments and we take it as a compliment that we had some features that you all seemed to enjoy and may take some some of those away with you. (I know weve borrowed a few ideas from other clubs!)
Cheers to Jason & Simon for putting a car together for me to race (I even ended up with a Medal!) & to The Ellacotts for helping me out with support on the day.... Also thanks to Gresty & Co for running race control over the weekend...
All in all a top weekend & Great Racing!
Cheers, Mark... _________________
