Has anyone tried this as I'm thinking it'll work out a lot cheaper than pins (mainly for the front), and if you have does it work well and what size do you need? (it's for a ht1)

i would stick to bending pins jamie in stead of £25.00 arms thats just my opinion Laughing

Ok thanks, didn't realise that the bolts would be that much stronger.. Rolling Eyes

i tried long allen screws in the front of an fg leopard and they seamed to work ok, however they still got bent from time to time

The bolts pinch the a and b bulkhead together witch stress the mounting screws but there no stronger than the pins Wink

Hi Jamie,
The best thing to do and works out really cheap, is have look in the RS.com and buy the 6mm key steel and if you have a dremal with the thin grinding disc, cut to size and grind a groove for the C clip, put it in a drill and turn over slowly and you don't have to take that much out to get a clip on.

Could be worth a go, not sure how accurate and close to a real pin I could get them though, and RS.com just brings up a software company?

(Last weekend my car didn't get far enough to crash, it just looked at the track and broke). Mind you, I'm sure you'll get out the way a bit quicker now that you've got a new car Shocked

i ran bolts on my ht1, it was fine. the bolts do give a bit, i've got hundreds of them if you want some for a few quid mate. wont be racing untill the efra tho .
