Don't miss the best GP from last year being on in 2009 again guys.
It is cheap to stay there for the camping and refreshments and the track is just awsome to drive. Also great party on saturday night.

You can put yourself on the driverslist now here:

NP m8.

I will have some space left in the car for at least 1 or maybe 2 more, so if you are interested Paul I will be happy to take you and Steve S. along. As he was interested in going as well.

I have an address you can ship your stuff to in Czech, same place as where the track is. In that case we better ship your stuff also directly there Stevo, so we have a bit of space in the car still. Remember I need to take my stuff as well... It is a mondeo station but still i will be already quite loaded.
You will have to settle for the baby chair of my little son Paul, but you will fit in there m8 with a little push 'n squeeze. Twisted Evil

We paid around 100GBP for the flight there and back.
So this is probably much cheaper then driving plus ferry all the way yourself.
This was with luguage, if you do it handy you pack most of your tools in there and share all together one charger or so. This is how we always did it to Salou. Drill, Dremel etc you can borrow there when needed. Just sort your tools what is truly needed and just ship car and tyres over to save weight in the package (and thus cost).
I will ask if I can sort transport back for the goods, we have some good contact there.
tyres you would be all the way fine with dots hormann, sld performance or quartz. killers sometimes work and DLD sometimes work. Rest you can all leave at home for this race.

I will be taxiing you wednesday evening from prague and monday morning/noon back to prague.

Just send me a mail or post here so we can sort it further out.
Ask stevo for his flight details so you can hold his hand on the same plane kuessen_sich
he flies manchester-prague.
somewhere evening 22h on wednesday if I recall right.
There were just a few seats on the plane left i think 3 or so, so better hurry if you wish to come along...

It would be needed to fix it if you want ASAP as I could then try to sort you a room there. There are very simple sheds with 2 beds but most of them (if not all menawhile...) are taken already.
They are around 12-15 euros a night I believe by head.

Cheers,
o.

What a great place to go racing, arrived in czech on weds night, Onno picked me up from the airport and we made our way to the track, 2 hours later we arrived and I was really supprised at the facilites, we had a full shower block, chalets a small bar with pool table etc, the people of czech where really friendly and made our stay excellent and a big thank you to victor the owner of the track and camping place, so thursday we started work on our cars as people where arriving, a few beers later and we finished working on the cars and had more beers lol this went on all night,
friday we started practice and I got used to the track very quickly, then friday night more beer, sat we had the qualifications and in the first heat I was hit from behind and broke a rear shock. Heat 2 the track had changed quite alot and there was lots of holes in the track and the times went down so made a few changes to the car. Heat 3 was much better the car felt good and soaked the bumps up very nice but it was to hard to compete with heat 1 times as the track was so much slower, finished up in the 1/8th final which would be the first race on sunday morning , sat night we had lots of good times in the pub and lots of beer lol 6am we went to bed for 1/1/2 hours sleep, woke up on sunday to a really big head ache and I mean big, had some breakfast and some coffee then got my car ready for the first race, started on pole and the first corner made a mistake and ended up near last I think so just settled down and finished 2nd 19seconds behind rene kuipers, so up to the 1/4 final and same thing again got caught up on the first corner and went to last again so thought it was all over untill I heard I was in 4th I could see 3rd about 1/4 of a lap ahead so just got my head down and finally caught him up and passed him and finished 3rd 17seconds behind rene kuipers who again finished 1st so upto the 1/2 final and and made my way through the pack into 5th and just kept my head down untill I make a small mistake and my body shell came off so into the pits I came to have it fixed but by now I had lost abit of time and could not make it up so finished 6th and didnt go through to the main A to say I was gutted was an understatment, but as they say (shit happens) I finshed 12th overall
so came the A final and what a good final to watch it was a really good battle and great to watch, every driver was trying so hard but by now the track was very bumpy so it was a suvival of the fittest, Kay was very fast and had a great win, ken walkiers was now driving with one servo broken and had a good result in 3rd place also a good result for tim vander elst in 4th well done lads.

got to say a big thank you to all invloved in the meeting and a big thanks to Onno, Jan and all the elcon team for all the help and advice especially tim ken renze and patrick oh and tim and ken for the drinking competition in which I won hahhahaha Very Happy

The meeting was the best I have been to by a really big margin and I will be back next year for sure..
