Thanks to all those who made the trip to Wakefield for the 1st round of the season.

Young James McCarthy is still fighting with the senior drivers, this said Stuart Carrick won the A final (standard class) and third place went to Simon Forrest with his HPI Baja. Not quite a 1,2,3 for PG racing.

Round 1 was also able to host a full round of the outlaw class with 10 cars participating and like the 2 wheel drives the final was dominated by its pole setter, Ian Oddie. Trevor and Nigel finished alongside Ian with their MCD's.

Keep an eye out for the results but in the mean time

are the unedited photo's from Sunday. Some good and some which could get better with a bit of tonal adjustment and cropping.

As quoted at the meeting I will endevour to get the results and pictures up within 7 days of the meeting. If anyone things they can do it quicker and better then they are more than welcome!!

Hiya,

I would also like to say a big thank you to Darren in race control. It was a very well run meeting.

Thanks guys, it was a bit hectic first thing but hey it all went smoothly at the Nook.

Don't forget the next round is at Warstone on the 27th April, I'm now unable to make the Saturday so you will see me bright and early on the Sunday. Could I remind those drivers who will be attending and who have not booked in then could they please do so and ahead of the meeting fill in one of the emergency contact forms.

Remember I will need a form from all racers before they race unless I've got one already.

See you on the 27th, bye for now :-

For those who could not wait for the results then well done for finding them and noticing that their is an error.

I have utilised the BBK software to auto populate the series and for some reason they have not transferred correctly.

I've spoken to Rob at BBK and he's got a copy of the meeting and is trying to establish whats happened and how to rectify. I have done all tweaks I am aware off and still no improvement.

If its not resolved by Monday then I will revert back to my manual points system but don't really want to!!

In future WAIT for me to say they are available before shouting off, Oz has mailed me and he's got a PM.
