Confused Wasnt going to reply, but Skip, you have answered your own questions!
Quote:
I think i might upset some people but it is not supposed to As we all know anyone can join the Warstone club .......But where is the insentive to Ok you can use the track when ever you want to but thats it, not much of an insentive for your cash.

Using a track when you like, is that not enough? To keep a track going costs about £1500 a year, so depending on members and how much you charge, the club may see some of that back.
If you don't have many members, the club-track is at a loss before it starts, someone has to pay it, or, NO track.
The biggest kick in the nadgers for a club or track, is those that use the track when they like, don't pay and are not members or help out at the track (not saying it's you, but I know it happens out there) and still want deals or moan that the track is looking crap or no work is being done...
I said it before and will say it again, if drivers take the attitude of, I just want to turn up and race or have fun, there will be NO tracks.
The tracks that have survived so far for Largescale, have had a strong and dedicated work force to keep them going....Been there and I salute you all... Keep up the Hard work and keep it LSOR Razz
Hope to see you all tomorrow.
Steve

Skip, you have extra incentive to join as far as I can see. Not only do you get unlimited track use when you have the opportunity, but you also get to race tomorrow. Everyones a winner. Very Happy

Steve.

Really if it is your local club you should join and support those giving thier time to run it.What you pay is a pttance for what you get,it`s not about unlimited track time,it`s about the "any time you like" regards Warstone.
Some clubs you only get race sundays and thats it.
The Nook members only get Sundays and we have nearly 50% split of members who do not even race.

Cool Top weekend chaps, well done to all those that took part.
My only top tip for the weekend is, THINK ONCE, THINK TWICE, THINK, dont stand behind Pete Whitehead's van, when stuck in the MUD....
