Sorry to read between the lines Will,
I'm sure no racer, or LSOR committee member would want to see any of the current large scale venues disappear but likewise the section does not have the financial resources to help clubs out financially.
I am not saying the BRCA would but I would suggest that you speak to Jim (see handbook for contact details) to see what the BRCA would do to help.
Like Andy says, any money borrowed needs to be paid back, so if the situation is not working now you might need to have a good business case to mitigate the risk of a loss to the BRCA.
If you want to speak at Notts then give me a shout, or at least get the committee together who are their and explain your posting\concerns.
I for one would not like to see any club disappear. _________________ Regards

Hi, whats it like at Sweetnap. Last time I looked on the forum it seemed very quiite
I suppose the price of fuel and everything else in todays society may have something to do with it _________________

Hi Will,
The Nene has been through some tough times in the past years (4 tracks
soon to be 5th). There are a small number of top blokes who pay £20 per
month via direct debit to the bank account, these people will get unlimited track use at the new track and all the fun of building it too
This method has worked for us over the skinny periods which thankfully we have survived, good luck to you and see ya at Notts.
Thank you to everyone that has helped out at the Nene over the years! _________________ Chairman

Will
Dedication is the key to survival, it would be a shame to lose stratford especially as it is likely to be the last surviving dirt track, with the nationals and a few club meeting i think you all will be ok now summer is here.
As Bill stated at the nene it is a chosen few that have kept it alive and we intend to go from strength to strength, i am sure you will do the same too and with such a low rental outlay it does not take many people to make it work
Good Luck |

Hi Ged I
Yes very quite at sweetnap. But as coveman has pointed out its all to do with dedication!!
There have been a few problems our end lack of numbers really .
I personally have been racing at Brooklands in Kent in the outlaw class have had some great fun. But I have started back racing at sweetnap due to the fact that a few true members have been left with ALL the work to be done for the Efra meeting. (there I have said it) Track wise we are on target. but the rest is a wait and see situation
Hopefully membership wise things will pickup in the summer but as you know these cars are not cheap to buy and run. Lots of interest from local nitro drivers.
