The agm's not really that far away now, and we need to know what proposals people have for the agm.

Please post your proposals here, and please keep the actual proposals clearly marked (in red for example) and then the committee know what is a genuine proposal and not just a general idea/suggestion/discussion.

If roverman or the doc can make this thread sticky until the agm, that would be great Cool

Ian

1, Maximum tank size to be 700cc

2, Engine rules to follow Efra engine rules for all classes except the outlaws.

The first ones quite obvious, the second one is very important with 2 proposals that are in for the efra agm this year (France and Holland), but both are covering the same thing in reality. I'll explain more at the brca agm.

Abolish cross over bridges

Although i quite like the feature on a track i feel they are too damaging to the cars, and very dangerous to marshall too ,seen a lot of damage done Shocked and i dont like the visual element of not seeing your car Confused

Hi Guys

IMO i agree with mark... bridges are soooh last year Embarassed banked turns are much more fun..... ohhh and more spectacular Shocked Shocked

Seriously It can also be fairly risky on marshal post 4 i copped a good old cuff on my bad leg again at the weekend Sad while trying to get a car out of the tunnel

so i would vote to remove cross over type bridges

Johnny

NDOR were thinking of getting rid of the Cross over anyway.
Way to much maintenance is spent fixing it.

Lets vote this one in Smile

Looks like one rule chnage already agreed then!

I propose that instead of the best single round of qualification its the total of the best two round times.

Basiclly its two out of the three qualifiers to count.

I agree, cross over bridges should be out for next year, i saw one marshal almost end up with a face full of 1/5 car, when he bent over to see where the stuck car was ! !

While i think the bridges are a bit on the dodgy side, and it would be safer without them there are many interesting alternatives which i have seen.
splits in a track, tabletops, rumble strips, banked turns, and one they use in full size rallycross, a joker lap ! which includes a small technical diversion which adds extra yards to the lap but which everyone has to do once during the race monitored by a marshall.
and there are many more possible features im sure, clearly we want the sport to remain a spectacle and exciting for everyone.

Regards

John

Here are my proposals

Front bumper min width 100mm max 220mm

Introduce some maximum car sizes/dimensions for the outlaw class

Once free practise is over the track is closed for the rest of the meeting for testing etc for example no running of cars on the track through lunch etc

Andy

Replace the Outlaw class with a dedicated 4WD class. The 4WD cars have to conform to the same maximum dimensions as the 2WD class, maximum engine size 26cc and a maximum weight of say 30 pounds.
