This was when Si Ward Spun out on the straight and Tim Vander Elst ran straight into him.
Tims Cleon was ok, a few bent bits but Si's car was a right off. All the front end was damagad.
Looks nasty on the video.

Other then a bumper now somewhere in the fields there were no troubles seen on the car.
He was just lucky to have the impact on the middle of his car and not on a wheel or something, then it is end of story.
For Si the impact spot was not that lucky ... 
Tim claimed he never saw the car due to the dark body.
Maybe a slight hint for those that plan a next paintjob

like Onno said,
I only had to fix a new bumper on the car & the car was ready for the main final 
after watching this crash for like 100x i suddenly realise how lucky my car came out of this crash, & indeed I didn't see Simon's car at all. =(
