Longer front and rear shock shafts are being made by the Contrast factory now so i won't be manufactureing those.

On my car i run my carbon brake disc's on the front, fibre disc on the rear layshaft and hardened steel brake pads.

At wakefield i also tested/ran my own clutch desgned specificaly for the contrast off road car, and it worked very well Very Happy

At Nene for the next national i'll have a mag diff fitted which will improve the drive out of corners and sweepers even more Very Happy Very Happy

All the parts are available in case you catch the new infection and turn to red Wink Laughing , it does seem very contagious Laughing Laughing Laughing Cool

Hi Ian

Just a quick line to say;

I bought a set of Oddified Carbon discs at the Nook for my Contrast..... I fitted them and they improve the braking no end .. much better.
So in my opinion this is a low cost and very beneficial hop up mod for the contrast... even i could do it Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

A Contrast gear ratio chart for on and off road is available to download on my web site:-

Note, you need to check which diff/layshaft gears you have fitted (12-37 or 11-3Cool. My car has the 12-37 on the diff and i've got 19 - 44 on the clutch/spur for short tracks, 20 - 44 for longer ones. That's overall ratios of 7.14 or 6.78 respectively, which is slightly taller than most cars use but with the car weighing less than most others it still allows excellent acceleration and with the taller ratio, a higher top speed Idea Very Happy
