Mick, I doubt anyone here has seen a Harm Bx3 in the flesh yet. Rapid Racing were expecting two of the three versions to be delivered this month but there is nothing suggest on their website site that they arrived.

It still uses the same clutch housing and gear carrier of the previous models and from my personal experience (and many others who have owned Harms) that means endless wrecked spur gears.

Probably a better option is one of the more established products from Elcon, Contrast or Hormann. Plenty of unbiased Laughing opinions here -

Mick, just been through a similar quandary as you may have seen on my recent poll in the largescale setups forum. If you haven't it's worth a look.

I almost chose the BX3 champ spec but because there is no real feedback available yet I have taken what I think may (but may not) be the safer option and gone for the Fuego instead! There are enough HT2's so I thought a bit of rebalancing in numbers will fuel the competition between makes.

Difficult choice though and it wasn't made on the basis of Ian's championship win either as some might think. I actually am taken by its elegant and apparent simplicity, yes it does have weeknesses as explored in the poll but these will be resolved I am sure in the near future!

Happy decision making, whichever one they are all still too expensive but what the heck lets enjoy it while we can!

yes the contrast is a superb car Wink allways had hormann but changed because it is easier running 2 cars the same as ray is now a contrast driver and i am his mere humble mechanic Crying or Very sad but they handle superb and the steering is awsome Wink

Cant knock the hormann though, fantastic car too but have never driven or seen the new BX3 so cant commnt on it Confused

As i have always said the Horman is a class act, and us boys at Contrast are working hard to bring the race to Horman and 2010 is going t be a blinder.
