Hi guys another one for your consideration!

Yes I know this topic has been discussed recently but you have all done some more running and experimenting since then I would assume!

NiMH, LiPo, LiFe are options you have all debated and all have their merits.

NiMH I already have experience of but God they are heavy if using SubC's for a high capacity setup.

LiPo's are now becoming available at 5000-5400mAh in compact 'hump back' form (LRP have released one).
These are considerably lighter than NiMh but do require the extra complexity of a voltage regulator.

LiFe I have no experience of at all and I cannot see a readily available supply of these in a compact form!

So, over to you guys.

Hi John

several of us are using LiFe cells, and its the safest cell there is Wink
they can be abused more than a lipo and you can get low cost 3300mah cells now. power is not up to lipo punch yet.
my cells last very well and only need a top up charge during a average national weekend.
As always buy the best you can and try to make sure they are genuine A123 cells, as there are some dubious copies around
